Summary
– A residential apartment complex designed with 2 blocks of general residences(3BHK+4BHK) and one independent block of service apartments.
– Each general residence block of the two, consists of 4 dwelling units and 2 vertical cores, limiting each vertical core to just two units per floor.
– The blocks have been arranged in a linear manner along the north-south axis so as to take full advantage of the southern breeze.
– This layout allows every dwelling unit to have access towards both, the eastern and the western direction.
– To enhance ventilation, the service apartment has been placed at the northern end of the plot as a partial blockage, putting venturi effect into play.
– The northern road access to the site also allows for proper segregation between the two typologies of residences.
– The parking has been primarily accommodated in basement, creating a central podium, which has been treated as a green interactive space with a pool. Communal spaces have been placed on the ground floor which open into this green podium.
