– The original requirement given for the project was to design for accommodation of International players of the 2023 Hockey World Cup.
– TAJ hotel group was assigned the hospitality aspect of the project for the world cup and hence the design was done according to their higher standards.
– Post world cup, the project is to be kept in use as a High Standard Hotel.
– By capacity, the accommodation building has 220 twin rooms and 8 Suites.
– The project was on a very extreme schedule; there was an 8 Month timeline to finish construction by the time the project was assigned to us.
– The conceptual design was presented to the client within a couple of days and was approved immediately.
– The Built up was designed in clustered divisions with proper linkages to allow for independent construction of each block.
– Courtyard planning of various scales has been incorporated to create a biophilic and interactive landscaped integration.
– Entry point(s) has been highlighted via double height portico and double height lobbies.
– Facade design has been done in a neat and contemporary manner, fitting to the event as well as low maintenance.
